Your dreams stay yours.

Dreamspell (the "App", available on Google Play and the App Store as "Dreamspell - Dream Reader", package com.dreamspell.app) is owned and operated by Topline Design (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our") — a private company registered in South Africa. This privacy policy explains what data we collect when you use Dreamspell and how we look after it.

Dreamspell's core feature is interpreting your dreams. To do that, we send specific pieces of your dream to three independent AI providers. You will see an in-app consent screen describing this before your first dream, and your written agreement is required before any data is sent.

• Anthropic (Claude Sonnet 4.5) — receives the text of your dream in order to generate the written interpretation. Governed by Anthropic's commercial API terms (no training on submitted content).
• OpenAI (Whisper) — receives your voice recording when (and only when) you record audio in the app, in order to transcribe it into text. The audio file is discarded by us immediately after the text is returned. Governed by OpenAI's commercial API terms (no training on submitted content).
• Google (Gemini "Nano Banana") — receives a short visual prompt derived from your dream (an art-direction sentence, not the full dream text), in order to generate the dream artwork.

These are the only third parties that ever receive any of your dream content. We do not share dream content with anyone else. Each provider has confirmed in their data-protection terms that it provides the same or equal level of protection for your data.

• Account info — your email and (if you signed up with email) a hashed password. If you signed in with Google, your name and profile picture.
• Dream content — the text you type or the voice transcript of what you recorded.
• Generated content — AI interpretations, symbols, and artwork tied to your account.
• Usage — how many dreams you've recorded, basic timestamps, the local time of your morning reminder.

We use the data only to run Dreamspell for you — to generate an interpretation, to show you patterns across your own journal, and to deliver the morning reminder if you opted in.

• Voice recordings are sent to OpenAI for transcription (Whisper), then discarded immediately after we get the text back.
• Dream text is sent to Anthropic (Claude Sonnet 4.5) for interpretation.
• Visual prompts derived from your dream are sent to Google (Gemini Nano Banana) for artwork.
• Password reset emails are sent via Resend.

These processors handle the request on our behalf and do not use your content to train their models on our enterprise terms.

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not show ads.
• We do not share your dream content with anyone outside the processors above.
• We do not read your dreams for analytics or marketing.

For as long as you have an account. If you delete a dream, it's gone — permanently — from our database. If you delete your account, all of your data goes with it (email, dreams, generated artwork, push subscription, everything).

• Read & export any of your dreams at any time (Profile → Export, coming soon).
• Delete a single dream from its page.
• Delete your account at any time by writing to help@dream-ly.com — we'll wipe everything within 7 days.
• If you're in the EU/UK/California: you have the standard rights to access, correct, and erase your data. Same email above.

We use a session cookie when you sign in with Google. There are no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, no Facebook SDK, no Google Analytics. Nothing follows you around the internet because of Dreamspell.

Dreamspell is not designed for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

If we change this policy in any meaningful way, we'll send you an email and put a banner in the app at least 7 days before it takes effect.
