Closing your journal.

The quickest way

1. Open the Dreamspell app or visit dream-ly.com.
2. Sign in with the account you want to delete.
3. Go to the Profile tab (bottom navigation, far right).
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete my account permanently".
5. Confirm. Your account and all data are wiped within seconds.

If you've lost access

Email help@dream-ly.com from the address tied to your account, with the subject line "Delete my Dreamspell account". We will:

• Reply within 2 business days confirming the request.
• Complete the deletion within 7 days.
• Send a final email confirming everything has been erased.

Everything. No exceptions.

• Your account record (email, name, password hash, profile picture)
• Every dream you've recorded — text, voice transcripts, and AI-generated artwork
• Every interpretation, symbol set, and reflection question tied to your dreams
• Push notification subscriptions and reminder preferences
• Active sessions, password reset tokens, and any analytics tied to your user ID

Almost nothing.

We retain a single anonymous record — a deletion audit log entry containing only the deletion timestamp and an opaque internal ID — for 90 days, purely to comply with our auditing obligations. It contains no identifiable information about you, your dreams, or your account.

After 90 days, even that record is purged.

Open any dream and tap the trash-can icon in the top-right corner. It's gone immediately — no recovery, no confirmation email, no retention. Useful if you want to keep your journal but quietly forget one entry.
